Life should not be..............

mid central, FL(Zone 9a)

Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, chocolate in one hand, your drink of choice in the other, with a body thoroughly used up, worn out, and screaming, "Woo Hoo, what a ride"!!!

pretty cute, huh? debi

If I have diet Coke, can I have twice as much chocolate?

mid central, FL(Zone 9a)

yes, you may. otherwise i'm afraid you'll come teepee my house on halloween.

Sumner, WA(Zone 8a)

hey debi - i love that saying! I definitly have the body " used up, worn out and screaming" part down pat! For the rest of that, you can bet there will be SOMETHING in both hands. The "what" will be determined at the time. I just love life and my basic belief is to make the most of it, no matter what it cost. You seem to be of the same frame of mind of "If its there, let me at it!", and I love ya for the guts to go for it. (just be like me, and don't look back, or count the scars!)

I've seen that saying - it's so cool. The one I saw didn't say a coca cola, but some kind of alcohol, maybe can of beer or glass of wine.

Another one I like: The journey is the destination (to a point).

mid central, FL(Zone 9a)

we can edit the post to include alcohol! debi

perfect fix LOL

debi - were you G-rated as a child? I'm not sure I was, as I remember a few choice words out of my non-cussing Mom's mouth! Even back then, I believed in living life to the hilt. I have since found out that my Mom knew a lot more than I thought she did, but I hope she doesn't ever know it all!

go girl!

ginni, you're lucky, my mom knew everything. (except she couldn't figure out why there were footprints on the wall below my bedroom window.) LOL it's so good to see you posting, we need another shey dog, do we not? debi

I'm up for it! But, I have got to finish me Christmas cards first! The holiday season brings many people here and I'd rather gab with them than spend my time cleaning. However I shall think upon a suitable subject to search for.I did soooo enjoy searching all over DG for Shey, and seeing her every where except in her own yard!

ginni

I have posted in other places, but I am in sort of "hit or miss" mode! (I did get a couple of cute pics in on the pet forum.)

Phoenix, MD(Zone 7a)

hmmmm I will try and help with that-- my Mother said she thinks her dogs or all dogs she has had. When they wake up all warm in the morning their faces smell like crackers!
LOL
