Janis is coming to Iowa!!!

I bought her plane tickets for her birthday, thanks to Southwest's cheap air fare promotion.

She's gonna be here 12 days!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Part of her being her will be majorly fun, we have so many cool places to see and things to do around here, I love playing tour guide in Dubuque. But part of her trip won't be so fun, she has volunteered to help me dig up my plants and start packing for my move. For those that don't know, I'm leaving my dh of 20 years. Not so much fun, lol. He still thinks we will "work it out" HA! Too bad for his his "girlfriend".

But this isn't the place for that, lmao.

Anyway, I can't wait, I can't wait, I can't wait!!!!!

Should we warn Chicago that we will be together there? Janis should get in at 8:35pm. We should be to Dubuque by 1am or so.

Did I mention I can't wait?!?!?!?

That is so awesome. How wonderful for both Janis to have a bit of a vacation from home and that you are going to have the support of such a great person to help you with this move MG.

I am so excited!! I'll be at the airport in 24 hours, in Pittsburgh..... The coolest thing is, MG and I met here on Daves a couple years ago..... we started talking on the phone, and have been inseparable, over the phone at least, ever since. We had talked about getting to meet some day... but now someday is here!

OMG we have been having so much fun!

Arboretum, Aquarium, Field of Dreams movie site, Dubuque County Fair (saw Joe Nichols and SHEdaisy) and that's just to start!

I still have to take her on the 4th St Elevator (the world's shortest and steepest inclined railway!) and a whole bunch of other places!
