Well, CARAT, the scorpions in Nevada don't bother me either.

Vegas,NV Filbert, SC(Zone 7b)

~~~~~........as I stood just looking at the scroll in complete confusion of it's meaning I felt my legs getting weak. It must be getting close to morning if it's not already begun. My stomach has had an internal alarm clock to breakfast, lunch and dinner since I was a small child. I decided to start back to the fire and the opening of the cave. I am sure the fire has gone out by now but hopefully a few of the embers will still be red enough to warm my fingers enough to stop the ache in them. As I make my way I can't seem to stop asking the so many questions that have presented themselves to me, what was the smell in the shed that began all this, who or what slimed me and why? Why is Madame LeRose leading me all over the garden property and what does she want me to find, how does Mr Ebbs know where I am all the time and never brings helpful things with him when he pops in......~~~~
I tried to get in the scary mode but still nothing came to me.....sorry
Phoenix, MD(Zone 7a)
*** my eyes must have failed me in my Mindset of "quitting the smokes" the scroll did not say that I must have ben so preocupied with my addiction i read it wrong.I looked again and read the words----- "go no further-- this is a warning to be heeded the end is near"
This was by all accounts not a good sign. I continued back to my fire to see if there was any spark left but was stopped in my tracks by*****
Why does it have to be considered finished??? I thought you started it up again. I must have missed something.
Vegas,NV Filbert, SC(Zone 7b)
We just couldn't get back in the groove after the first blooper and then trying to type with a straight face and cigarette warning was to much for us I guess.
What was the original purpose of this thread??? To test blu???
Buffalo, NY(Zone 6a)
But I think you're going for the record now....
waukesha, WI(Zone 5a)
Blu shall not die! We have 5 days untill Halloween, so lets do a Halloween word game.
RULES: Must keep to the Halloween theme AND start your word with the last letter of the previous word.
Ready?
Halloween
Spokane Valley, WA(Zone 5b)
Sorry, gotta post something else, first. *giggle*
Quoting:
On an October Sunday, in the midst of the morn,
Trois started a thread which got battered and worn.
'Cause a querying gal, trackinsand was her name,
jumped into the thread, and her post is to blame
For the subsequent hijacking of something Trois knew
was just "creeping senility" with his topic called "blu".
Soon others showed up, and with pictures, to boot,
and the posts that commenced were a laugh and a hoot!
For the topic of "blu" turned to pics and a guess
Of which "blu" was the theme, and of this, I'll confess
That I joined in that fray with my own searched out bits
of those images "blu"... gosh, how Google got hits!
The topic ran on, with more pictures of "blu",
and transitioned to pink, when it seemed "blu" was through.
Other colors came up, other pics, other themes,
Then a story began, in the hopes and the dreams
That this thread would persist till it beat all the rest
in that being the longest it became DG's best.
*takes a bow*
Buffalo, NY(Zone 6a)
Applesauce! Er, applause!
Spokane Valley, WA(Zone 5b)
Are we there yet? ;-)
Thanks again, folks. I obviously had a bit of time on my hands last night. And yes, I think a story-telling thread would be perfect for winter time - perhaps in Jokes and Chat where it gets a bit more visibility? It can also get quite long if it mostly remains a text thread (as opposed to test thread... hehehe).
Happy Thursday! I'll be watching.
Donna
Phoenix, MD(Zone 7a)
Donna do you really think we need more visibility? Should more people be subjected to our antics? ROTFLMAO
*hee hee hee*
Spokane Valley, WA(Zone 5b)
Hmm, on second thought, perhaps invisibility is a good thing. lol
Have you ever seen this song thread? It might spark some ideas... http://davesgarden.com/forums/t/449802/
