Just add the next line to the story, make sure to keep it clean so all of our hard work doesn't get deleted! Make sure also to hit preview before you post in case someone else has replied so we don't make a mess (I know I already did sorry)

A Midnight Garden Tour (insert evil wind howling sounds here)

It was a dark and foggy night when I decided to tour the gardens of the late Madame LeRose. It is rumoured that these gardens are haunted because...

If we are to have a certain group of people we can use an alphabetical thing to say whos turn. If everyone is going to be able to jump in I am stumped for right now but thinking on it. I really don't like the idea of excluding someone just because they weren't able to get on today.

how about we don't start this until tomorrow at a certain time. If you want to play then we can form a list and then close the chance to join until some either wants to drop out or their name is added and everyone is informed and the list can be updated.

If I had and all Preview before sending there entry it will tell you if someone posted while or before you did. So that is what rachel meant by preview first--- i messed up the whole thing sorry,

well, really previewing is the most effective way to keep it flowing. If we have a system as far as taking turns, then we have to wait for that person or exclude people who join later. Want to start over and try again with a new story??

I like the add a line story idea, but lets up the ante. You must start your first word in your post with the last letter of the previous post.

In all seriousness, you might want to have everyone preface the "story" part with a special character or something. I dunno, like "***" or ">>>".

That way, you should be able to distinguish the story lines from the hijacks.
