Need to find chart for planting by the moon on the west coast. Does it really make a difference?

Planting by the moon?
Richard, while I cannot answer your question directly, you may want to check out this thread for starters: http://davesgarden.com/forums/t/485079/
Good luck!
Donna
You can get an annual calendar for your zone here. http://www.gardeningbythemoon.com/
I have a book (in addition to the calendar), The Complete Guide to Gardening and Living by the Moon Signs (Raising with the Moon by Jack Pyle and Taylor Reese http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detail/-/1887905367/qid=1128393934/sr=8-1/ref=sr_8_xs_ap_i1_xgl14/002-1617193-4416822?v=glance&s=books&n=507846).
When I first got the book some 3 years ago, I needed a tooth pulled, and chose a date from the suggestions of the book to bleed less. In fact, I bled SO LITTLE, I almost didn't make the necessary blood clot to seal off the hole.
I use it for haircuts, too... cut during a moon phase so it grows slower which eans fewer haircuts!
Haven't "really" gardened since I got the book as I have now moved 3X and expect one more, but I can certainly attest to the other stufff!
