why not opening a bromeliad forum, this is my proposal

Miami, FL(Zone 10a)

I proposed to DAVE'S GARDEN to consider opening a
BROMELIAD forum.
The GARDEN recommended for me to post a thread, asking
the members if it will be a good idea.
I myself have posted 81 Bromeliad species or cultivars, with
109 different images in the DAVE'S GARDEN database.
which I think is a valuable contribution in order to make bromeliads
a popular family of plants in DAVE;'S GARDEN.
They are decorative, easy maintenance and rewarding us
with spectacular colors and inflorescences.
Please express your interest by writting, in hope to encourage
DAVE'S GARDEN to give us , Bromeliads growers and
collectors an opportunity to communicate, make new friends,
exchange ideas and experiences, a chance to learn more and
finally a window to post our accomplishments and for trading,
which is a healthy and exciting exercise
Yours truly.

I grow mostly tillandsias, and the odd couple from other genera. Would love to see a brom forum !!! I've been wondering where on earth to post about them, and yet I noticed that PlantFiles has a good selection.

My current project is growing T. caput-medusae from seed. So far, so good.....

I am new to Bromeliads and would just love to see a forum discussing this species and hopefully learn from the more experienced growers and see some of the wonderful Bromeliads they are growing !!!

It certainly gets my vote because it is one of the largest plant collections I have.

BTW, I've moved the Aechmea, Dyckia, Tillandsia, Billbergia, and Puya threads I could find to the new forum. If anyone comes across any other "stray" threads that should be moved, please let me know. (FYI - I don't move threads located in the ID forum, plant/seed trading forums, or the PF pictures forum ;o)
