My New Roomate Went Through My 1983 Yearbook

Spokane, WA(Zone 5b)

I went to a Christian school in Michigan. She was in tears when she read what people wrote in it, and at the end of the book there was a passage. I typed it out for her today because she wanted it, but left out the school part. I thought I'd share it with all of you:

Life can be looked upon by one as a puzzle – a moment in time filled with pieces that are often meaningless in life. At points in one’s life, the scattered pieces may happen to slip together, filling our lives with a hope of perhaps finding the key to bring our lives together, and fulfilling our dreams.

We earnestly search for the answer throughout our minds, digging in the closets of “worldly” happiness. Often we become frustrated and alone, wondering if what we may be searching for is in vain and foolish. Though we continue to believe, our human strength is soon gone. We are weak and feeling alone in life’s game. Is there a solution to this puzzle……an answer to this life?!

“For my grace is sufficient for thee: my strength is made perfect in weakness”.

This is the moment in each of our lives when Christ perfects his love in us. In an instant of confession to our searching, HE gives us the solution to the puzzle, the key to a “true” life of happiness and inner peace.

Through prayer, and faith in a mighty God we are blessed to say He’s supplied us our needs. We do not have to fear our tomorrows when Christ is at our side, piecing our life’s puzzle together.

“Beloved, now we are the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is.” 1 John 3:2

Karrie, what a wonderful God we have. It was no surprise to Him that she read your yearbook. He knows what we need, when we need it, and sends us the people who He knows will provide the Message. Bless you for being available.

she DID need to hear it - isn't that amazing! She cries alot, because life became heavier than what she can bear. That is why I typed it out for her. Please save it and share it, as needed for others who might gain from it.
