Here Comes Rita!!!!

Midway, TX(Zone 8b)

I just heard that Hurricane Rita is headed for the Fla. Keys. Right now they say it is a catagory 2 hurricane but will probably be upgraded to a 3 later. Galveston, Texas has issued a voluntary evacuation and my son and family that live there are preparing right now to leave. They have boarded up their house and gathered up the most important belongings and paperwork to take with them.
Everybody in these areas need your thoughts and prayers. I sure hate to see this happening again right now!!

It looks way to close for comfort. I am sure no one there has let their guard down. It is all so terribly sad.
