It is sad to see houses demolished, but they can be rebuilt. To see all those magnificent old trees makes me cry. It will be 50-100 years to re-grow some to that size.

it was water that was our problem here, not wind. i mean, the wind was bad but the water, jeez. but like yall said, its nothing compared to surrounding parishes. and now ritas coming, oh lord.
