This is a Purple Flaked, trying to revert to the parent plant I believe. This is on the same vine as the "normal" Flaked

I. purpurea.... Grandpa Ott's, Star of Yelta, Kniola's Black or Carmen. Planted all, not sure which this is LOL

Here is light pink purpurea, with a Flaked purpurea, the flaked has very little color.

This is my main trellis. It is 8 feet tall, 2 feet wide. There are 4 vines, one on each of the legs. So far, I've had the purple japanese blooms, the Japanese Blue Star Picotee blooms, and the Early call Blue. The trellis is tied to the banister on this side and an old satellite bracket on the other side, and is still pulling itself over from the weight on top

This is an unknown I. Nil that didn't germinate earlier this year, and the dirt was tossed down by the mail box. Imagine my surprise this AM, when I saw this beauty!! It is covered with buds, and is only maybe a foot tall. There is another right next to it, but no blooms yet LOL

Wow! I love the blooms! especially the Unknown one, Mt Fuji pink (neat edge), and Hama No Yuki.
