Janis,
More gorgeous blooms.
Can't believe your niece didn't pay attention to the blooms
to know if that small Chocolate has always produced that small,
or if the vine is blooming it's last blooms.
I have noticed that on many of mine, the blooms are very small
on their last few blooms before dying.
This definitely looks like Early Call 'Blue' to me.

Gorgeous JMG
For your first year to grow MG's, you certainly have some real winners.
This 'Hot Pink' still amazes me.
So unique

Where in the world have you been hiding this one?

Wonder if this is from Onalee's Imperialis Mix?
Oooooh Janis,
on this one

Did you notice the Turquoise at the edge.
These just never stop do they. Can't wait to see what they will do next year.
I'm gonna drive to Ohio and get some of your soil in the middle of the night....lol
Ok, after I meet you first.

'Aomurasakizyouhatensibori' .... how in the world do you say that??? lol.
I did tag the all purple pod and I got 5 or six like this... all of which bloomed UNDER my porch :( so I couldn't get clearer pictures
The SBLs could have some from dropped Plum frost seeds... I'm sure I brought some to that garden, but I didn't plant them there... they have yet to flower in another location.
(Silky blue true color)
Zem-
Awesome Photos.
Yes, that is 'Silky Blue'
and your 'Rose Silk' bloom looks like one of those HUGE blooms I got. I didn't grow any this year. Gosh, I had the biggest blooms on those.
Wonder if the small Pink could be a type of 'Yojirro'?
Are all of the blooms small like this one?
Maybe someone else might know.
Seems like Joseph grew one like this a couple of years ago that was Pink.
And the ''Aomurasakizyouhatensibori'' WoW!
Like Joseph said, try to say it three times in a row - fast....lol
I was trying once to pick that name apart to figure it out,
but some of the words wasn't in my small Japanese/English dictionary.
I've gotten
'Ao' [Blue]
'murasaki' [Purple]
and maybe the
'sibori' could be [shibori],
and no clue about the other letters.
Anyone know what this means?
Emma
I wanted to ask for everyone's opinion...would it be poor form of me to market "Cynda's Surprise" on eBay using that name? I would not identify from where I had obtained the seeds originally but You Know Who certainly would know LOL. I am going to have a ton of seeds and only need a few to keep the strain going. Thanks in advance for your august opinions in September LOL.
Joseph
Joseph I think anyone can sell anything by any name they deem proper LOL it might prove interesting!!!
the pink had all small blooms ang hid itself among the massive morning glory conglomerate that once was my front porch
Woofen, your Fuji no Sora is to die for. I've got to find that one for sure.
Sorry, Woofens, didn't mean to cut into your post.
I'd get down and kiss you feet, if you do. lol
no problem :) I probably post too many pics anyway, but I can't help it... each one is a treasure to me
Janis
LOL That won't be necessary. I just hope I get seeds. I only have 2 of them left from the package I bought :(
You really do have some beauties, Janis. I wish I had as much luck with mine. I think it gets too hot here for the JMG to do really well, but I'm going to keep on trying. lol
Wow, what is this one? The huge blue one.
