C.S.I. N.Y.

The following excerpt is from next week's TV Guide.

"Where we left off: A diner shootout and a flirtatious patron nudged Mac (Gary Sinise) out of his lingering grief over the loss of his wife, while Hawkes (Hill Harper) applied to join the team out in the field.

What's new: Almost everything. The look will be lighter, the storylines brighter, and the mood less sombre. Creator Anthony Zuiker candidly admits he made some mistakes in Season One with regard to content, which put off some viewers."

. . . Sure hope they're right. I love the other 2 CSIs, but got to the point last season where I didn't care if I saw the NY episode or not.

I wonder how many others felt the same as way.

BTW, the original will always be my favorite.

did not care for that one at all .. like peterson on las vegaS THE BEST....

the original -Las Vegas - is the only one I really like....

the original -Las Vegas is the best and I think they are putting the team back together for this season, let's hope so.. Don't care for the CSI NY, but I do like NCSI..I love Mark Harmon, but sure hated that Kate was killed off.. We'll see who replaces her..CSI will be new next week and I cannot wait..

The Las Vegas one is the best, and in my not so humble opinion, should have been the only one.

The setting and the characters are quirkier than they could be elsewhere and any other "team" will always be judged against the original.. and fall short.

I watched the NY one maybe three times and it just didn't do it for me. Maybe i'll give it another try.... maybe not.

We like the original one too and the Miami one isn't too bad. Didn't know there was/is a NY one. Don't have that much time for TV anyway. We watch the LV one while I prepare and we eat supper sometimes. If I'm busy I just catch what I can while eating if I even stop for that long. We get 2 back to back episodes each weekday. Got lots of reruns during the summer.

leaflady, Tons & tons of reruns of CSI & CSI Miami on during the summer, and for that matter, in the regular seaon too.

I watch them I DVD, so I'm a ways behind. I came in on Miami and I think it is my favorite, but it's very close with Las Vagas. The little I've caught of NY I haven't been impressed with. I've also been told that Las Vagas gets better as it goes on.

I LOVE all the C.S.I.'s but i could also do without the the NY one...It was just dark..nothing like the other ones...I never miss one..and have watched them over and over and over...and NCIS is excellent as well, and so is Numbers...and now hubby as got me hooked on Alias....I think that CBS has my weeknights all booked up...lol
