Dave's Garden is in House and Garden!!!

Cincinnati, OH(Zone 6a)

In October 2005's issue, in "in the garden, One Gardener's Almanac" there is an awesome write up with Dave being quoted quite a bit!!!

Really, the article is about online gardening websites, but Dave got the lion share of attention! (The only site discussed, at all, as a matter of fact.)

Yay Dave's Garden! (and thank you to Dave :) )

I went to my Hair Salon yesterday and they have House and Garden as a subscription, but they didn't have the Oct. issue yet. boohoo.
Guess I will have to read it at B&N as I can't read the one on Dave's link above...way too small. hehe

BTW, I told everyone in the Salon to look for the article when the magazine comes in.

Donna, when you click on the links Dave posted, you should see a magnifying glass to enlarge them online. I downloaded them, increased the contrast so I could read the print easier.

WOW!!! This is way cool....Congrats Dave

Darius, thank you for showing me that. :-) I didn't even notice it, until you pointed it out to me.

That is a very interesting article...good going Mr. Dave.

Congratulations on what we already know is a great site. Good to see the much deserved recognition.

If people want to save those to read them later, they should be able to right-click on each scan and choose "save picture as" or some similar choice. I'm talking PC users -- not sure about Mac folks.

Irving (Dallas area), TX(Zone 8a)

Wouldn't it depend more on the browser or the OS than the hardware? ;)

Newark, OH(Zone 5b)

Not necessarily -- Mac's don't always have right-click options, depending on the OS they run, right? Not hardware, necessarily, but definitely a difference between Mac's and PC's.

So.App.Mtns., United States(Zone 5b)

All you do on a Mac is hold down the mouse... a menu will appear asking what you want to do. "Save Picture as" is one of the options.

Irving (Dallas area), TX(Zone 8a)

Firefox on Mac OSX, Firefox on Windows, Firefox on Linux, Firefox on FreeBSD, my guess is that the right-click options are about the same on them all (I don't know for sure about FreeBSD because I haven't used it). Anyway I'm not sure the difference between Windows (I assume that's the OS you use on your PC) and Mac OS is that much more than Windows and other PC OS's.

EDIT: But, it's true you get the same options with a left click-and-hold on Mac OS.
