Sending Same Dmail to Multiple People

SF Bay Area, CA(Zone 9b)

Is there a way to send the same Dmail to several different people at the same time? I can't figure out how.

Due to the way that D-mails are set up, like Forum threads, I don't think there is a way to send a D-mail to multiple users en masse.

No there's not.

Wish there were, even if it were something that ADM turned on and off. Two examples of need: the Dmails sent to the people in the path of Katrina, and Dmails sent to RU participants confirming their presence.

The main concern is the potential for abuse...say a member flies off the handle and goes crazy and decides to email hundreds of people with their grievances. That doesn't make sense to allow that kind of thing, so everyone suffers as a result.

Yes, I saw that immediately as a potential for abuse. That's why I made the comment about turning it on and off. That way DG could use it when necessary and yet not have it available to the general membership. I'm sure it would have been a godsend for those people working on the Katrina Dmails.

Go through all the list and put in subject via paste, saving draft on each one.
Start with the first one and write your message and sign it etc.
Copy the Original post, not the preview as Hyperlinks don't copy that way.
Go to draft box, paste on each and send.
This does help a very slow typist like me.

Yes, the saving to a draft feature is very helpful for that!
