Mail warning- Fraud

Gamleby, Sweden(Zone 7a)

Got an E-Mail that looked like a receipt about my subscription payed trought Paypal. It contained the sum, lookalike standardOut-Mail and a LOT of linkbuttons and mail links. I DID NOT push ANY of those links.
I forwarded it to paypals fraudmail and today I got the confirmation that it was a fraud and they would investigate.
If you get suspicios mail.protending to be Paypal dont open it just forward it to

spoof (AT) paypal.com dont want this to get hyperlinked so change (AT) to correct marking

I immediately delete any email that comes asking for info for Ebay, Paypal, my credit cards, etc. If it looks legit and I'm in question, I'll call the company rather than put that info over the wires.

I got a message from "paypal" last week too. Never having had anything to do with ebay or paypal it had to be a scam also.

Fayetteville, NC(Zone 8a)

I had gotten one of those PayPal "let's check your info." things by email, too. I had opened it and looked at it, but did not enter any information. I thought it was funny that the first question it asked on what looked like a PayPal page was my credit card number. After reading this thread, I sent it to the spoof address above. They immediately responded that it was a fraud and they are investigating. I'm so glad that you are warning people. We just can't be careful enough.
