Thank you very much for your understanding and kind words;)
I always enjoy reading up on gardening and history like you mentioned. I would really appreciate links to those if it isn't a problem.
Here I am taking this post off onto yet another topic! LOL
Yes I'm following doc's orders and then some. I'm still under 40 years of age and I feel like I'm healing like a very old man...Seems soo very slow and all this down time with no exercise...Well it's maddening I guess. I'm a vegtable;)
Thanks again!

Nice pics. I have that same vine producing the same flowers.
My wife and I have this one and another moonflower vine growing on the same shepards hook. They both have the same flowers but there are very noticable differences on the vines foliage patterns. Since they both grow on the same support, it's almost impossible to tell which vine starts from which stem. I hope to get pics of both plants hoping we can collectivly ID the 2 and there differences.
I have so many different moon flower vines and datura's with very subtle differences making it difficult to tell the differences. My pups seemed to take great pleasure in removing all the plant tags I put on everything from the eginning trying to avoid this kind of problem. Onery lil mutts! LOL
The weather isn't cooperating at all. It's like we skipped August and Semptember's hot and dry conditions moving right into cool/wet October like conditions. I've never experienced weather like this and the pests and problems that come with it in all my years of gardening. I'm seeing pest damage and powdery mildew problems that have never occurred ever since gardening here over 10 years ago. It's so frustrating and confusing. UGGHH!
Thanks, Jeff
