Preference option suggestion?

Would it in any way be possible to have an option to automatically watch any thread you have started or posted to? I keep forgetting to watch the threads and then I can't remember which forum I originally found it in. I know I'm a newbie, but I keep getting lost in the wonderful world of Dave's!

Not everyone would want this, so could it be a check box type option?

You are automatically set to watch any thread you start, so that just leaves threads you post to...

I don't know if it's practical to make it an option - that's a question for Dave. (I'm pretty sure I don't want to watch every thread I post to....if you put my current "watched threads" end to end I daresay they'd stretch around the globe a few times ;o)

The threads you start automatically are "watched" ..... otherwise there is an option to "Watch Threads" . You can find your "Watched Threads" under your "My Info" tab

If you forget to mark a thread as "watched", you can go to your "My Info" page and check the list of "posts" you have made to various threads on the different forums. It's a good way to relocate those threads without going through the forums you may have visited one by one.

Thank you, I knew there had to be a way. Dave's is too well organized in every other aspect. I'd like to say it's idiot proof, but I just proved myself to be the exception.
