having trouble getting signed up on aol instant messenger

I appologize if this is posted in the wrong place, not really sure which forum I should have posted this in.

I've been trying all day to get aol instant messenger on my computer, I've downloaded it, and got a screen name, now I have to confirm my email address so I can finish registering, and I was sent an email with a link to do this, and this is where i've had the trouble. I'm almost finished, but the link only takes me part way through before It doesn't work any more. And I'm getting frustrated LOL.

Does anybody know what i'm doing wrong? I tried to send in a trouble report, ha! they did say after I sent the report that they may not answer me . Well, Gee, how am I going to get the help I need.

Hi Kathy, how you doing girl? I'm not puter literate, so can't help, but you might posting this over in the computer forum. They are awesome over there. :-)
