I absolutely love the Blue Dawn. It is loaded with buds. I am going to try to over winter some for next year.

It's not just the unscrupulous sellers on ebay that are renaming seeds. I bought these at a pretty reputable garden center this year. It looked real delicate in the picture.

Anyone know anything about the SOLID White JMG's.
I've seen several.
This one was in a JMG MIX
and I'm trying to find out the name

Thumbnail by EmmaGrace

Could it be Akatsuki no Yuki, Emma?

Pinellas Park, FL(Zone 9b)

Janis,
Send me a SASE and a list of the MG's you HAVE and I'll send you a surprise package.
I'm in the address files.
Jan....

It could be - I was hoping you might know. I have another Solid White Planted, but no blooms yet of 'Shirayuk'. Maybe I can tell from the seed packets on the JMG links.
Thanks Joseph

Here is my first Asuka bloom on this vine

Sharp Pod Ipomoea trichocarpa [Texas Native] are starting to bloom now. They are everywhere in my back alley.
Just love their Pink color - picture isn't very clear.

Ronnie,
Those are beautiful.

I also bought a package EXACTLY like your Shiva. I got mine at a local hardware store, but they were name brand seeds. Can't remember what company sold them tho. I got my milky ways from Burpee.

Janis
Edited to say, Ronnie, just looked close at your packet of Shiva again, mine came from Livingstone also.

Janis

You'll have mail from me after I get the kids lunch LOL

Jacksonville, TX(Zone 8a)

Janis, your Lavenders' are very pretty.
Are they Lavender, or Dark Purple ?

budgielover.
I LOVE your Matsukaze. Would LOVE seeds if you get enough.
BTY, I haven't forgotten you. Your seeds will go out this week that I have put aside so far. I'll send you a list also.

Ron,
Your Blue purpurea is BEAUTIFUL!
Don't think I've seen that color before.

Pinellas Park, FL(Zone 9b)

Thanks Emma,
I will grow a few through the winter and get a jump on spring with seeds. I seems to get a better seed set here in the cooler weather and have the advantage of bees and butterflies year round but I may give hand pollinating a try.

golgi,

This is from your Henka Blue Star seeds [or whatever you will be calling them].
Have you ever gotten a Gray before???
This first bloom is pretty beat up,
It is Light Gray with Steel Gray Star Fuchsia Halo and White Picotee Edge. . .
How about 'Gray Smoke' for a name!

Love Grey Smoke! Very dreamy and misty looking. Here is one that showed up with my Asuka this AM that is different. Any ideas on a name? Maybe just a variation of Asuka?

My pink ones are going crazy! They climbed up a 7 ft fence and are now climbing falling down the otherside. This is the back side of the fence.

The ones that may be Grandpa Otts also have a pink one mixed in with them and are blooming all over the place.

Awesome Susan :)

I use the word awesome alot, but there treally isn't anything else, unless I want to sound well, silly LOL

Janis

Jacksonville, TX(Zone 8a)

Oh Susan, WOW!
Your 'maybe' 'Asuka' is INCREDIBLE!
You should tag that one, waiting for an ID.

Lincoln, NE(Zone 5b)

I'm afraid I will have trouble when I gather seeds from the Asuka and the unk one because they are all tangled up together on the same vine. They were all suppose to be Asuka, but I like this one even better. I know what you mean Woofens. I just keep saying gorgeous, fantastic, ect. What else can you say about such beauties?

here's the sazanami ripples

this is the very first flower, so I'm sure they'll be more like the picture in the future. The blue silk (ugimoko floating cloud is looking more like the picture every day, will have to take a shot of that one soon.

this morning glory bush is suppose to have red white and blue picotee flowers on it, there are two now and they are the blue and Pink, not the red. maybe others will be red, I was so hoping for some red ones.
