I can't believe I stumbled onto this thread. What a Godsend! This will be the perfect Christmas present for my dd who "hopefully" will be going away to college next year and will have to leave behind her devoted Roxy. Plus, some of our friends have recently lost their fourth Sheltie. I'm going to forward your link to Kim and suggest that she may want to have a portrait done of their *children*.

What a great artist you are! Thanks so much for sharing your great talent. (Now see if you can get through your door with your swelled head. lol - just kidding, of course.)

BTW, when do you start getting loaded down with Christmas orders?

Prospect Park, PA(Zone 7a)

Sassy, thanks! I DO do people's pet's portraits, that's my bread and butter. And I enjoy it so much!

Pins, thanks! Can't WAIT to work with you! I just finished my first "Christmas Gift", last year I was able to take orders until the end of November and have them ready. After that, I sold a LOT of gift certs and finished them up just before Valentines Day. I guess it just depends, this is my second full year of doing commissions.

You should see the one I'm working on now, it's a sphynx cat, it is hairless and has HUGE eyes and ears. IT's so ugly, it's cute!!

Oops, trying to get out that door, what's holding me back?
