ok, got you both. Elaine, I have worked at USC for 37 years. I just retired in December, but continue to do part of my job on a part time basis. I usually work 8-10 hrs a week, got to love it. I've never paid much attention to the sports activities.

I'm Michele -- new to DG, Brugs and Florida. My first brugs have just begun to germinate. I have them in wet paper towels in plastic bags on top of my water heater, a great technique I picked up here!

Linda in Concord CA. I started some brugs from seed I got from e-bay last summer and have just ordered some from cottage gardens. I have never grown brugs before and am very excited.

Hi all, I am in a very bad way......wanting to grow brugs. Bitten bad, hives all over. NO BRUGS. What shall I do? Any suggestions? Do I get some from my variety of gardening cataloges? Scratching, Help......

Marie, you're added. There are lots of catalogs and places to get brugs, maybe someone here would have a cutting or 2 that they can send you for postage. Keep an eye out. Welcome to the brug addiction.

gessieviolet -- ( LANE) Several years ago I went through my african violet, episcia craze and because I was trading and buying each like crazy through the list I belonged to, I came up with name gessie (for Gesneriads) and violet (for the specific) to ID myself.
