Dave's Garden Stores .. Why are they not working?

Coal Center, PA(Zone 6a)

Also, why are they not more visable to be easier to find?
People come to my website looking for how to get back to them.
Thanks.
Alice

Alice,

Late last week I took down the www.scifstore.com domain and I am no longer accepting new signups to ScifStore (meaning, nobody can create a store right now).

People can still find your store, however. The www.scifstore.com wasn't responsible for much traffic but Google and other areas is. Your store has continued to receive the same number of visitors each day after I took www.scifstore.com offline.

best,
dave

Good Morning Dave,

Been waiting for you on this. May I ask why? Will it come back?

And can we still get to the discussion forums for the stores?

Thanks,
Molly

Molly,

No, I'm not planning to bring ScifStore back.

I've been managing that system for almost 3 years now and it has benefitted a very small amount of people. There are only about 6 stores that are actually doing any reasonable sales (others get a sale or two every month, if they're lucky). It's just not a very used feature and I don't want to take any new members. Existing stores, of course, are welcome to continue using it for as long as they want but I'm just not taking new ones.

Any existing ScifStore user that needs help can feel free to email me directly at dave@standardout.com. I don't want to use DG for support, however.

Killing ScifStore (and myzf.com, by the way) will free me up to spend more time on DG.

Thanks Dave,

I kinda suspected that any questions of store problems should not be handled in DG forums. It's good to know we can contact you in the fashion you outlined above.

Thanks, Dave.

Sorry for so long to reply. I've been way too busy this year )o:

I get many positive comments about our store.
It's a shame they did not do better overall.

The best way for me to access our store now has been via the link at the menu at our Karchesky website.

Thanks for your reply and contact (o:
