Ohhhhhhhhhh how lovely everything in your yard is, everything is simply gorgeous Blaine, boy do you have the green thumb. Thank you so much for sharing the pics and your garden.
P.S. I'm on pins and needles to see 8P lol...this is really exciting.
.... and more tour by request (pt2)
Have been strolling thru your garden with my mug of tea, Blaine...love your color combinations and the textures. Keep them coming.... FM is lovely!!! Heck, they are all lovely. Must've been a combination of your Mom and living in Hawaii, right? You DO have the gift!!
Of course, Bud and Mu'umu'u help too!!
Carol
Hmmmm there is the razzmatazz, just luring me in like a true fishrman, that is the prettiest darn thing. Yes Aloha, I think Bud and Mumu's are his drawing boards for perfection.. Love ya
I dreamed about the copper wire and tubing that I found at my daddy's place. Got up this am and tossed the faux stone thingy, also with copper, that previously pushed the water around. I also dreamed about the two wells at my grands place in Louisiana, one had stacked flag stones and the other one was an artesian well. The attached photo is my version of the two wells. Not enough sun when I took the photo to shine on the copper/water which is very nice. If you have ever seen one just like this, please don't tell me because I haven't and I'm going to build my brother one too, but his will have tiered bowls, with stones around them. The cute ears sitting by the fountain are courtesy of Brinda, nicest gardner I know in Yukon OK. I have them sitting out to decide where is the best place to plant them. The brug to the left is another L'Amour x EP, (thanks Kell, I'm soooo happy with them!!), and it is Ying, as we speak, but no buds yet. The short stubby seedling up front to the right, is Watermelon Ice x ??, (thanks, Kyle, I LOVE this one too!!) and it is also Ying, as we speak, also no buds yet, and I do not believe it's over a foot tall, possibly 15 inches, but with a thick trunk. The holes in these brugs are not bugs but sticks/wind/storms, twisted both badly. I hope you all like my artesian well, I made it myself, including stacking the stones, I've always love to play in the dirt with rocks and water...

I'm lucky. I have garden neighbors.
And whats not to like about that work of art? Go ahead and keep it running for me to make sure the pump is good. I'll probably be over this weekend to help you dismantle and put in my truck. We probably ought to number those stones so I can reassemble it correctly at home... unless you want to follow me back and put it together? ;)
Love it Sherry and thanks for posting. I'll be saving this pic for future ref and try and copy it although I don't know of anyplace around here where I can just pick up the flat stone like that and I don't like paying for rocks
Thanks, Blaine! The stones came from three states, Arky, Louisiana, MS, from family homes, I've been collecting them over the years. I don't like buying rocks either!! What would really be great is a big, pretty pot, ceramic and use plants around the base and the water is nice and calm and I'm going to try rooting in it. Now, how did you float yours, bubble wrap??? I think I paid a fortune for the first water feature, and I'm sick I didn't think of the copper the first time round...now I'm trying to decide if I want it to age or keep it shiny, I love seeing the sun glint off it...
Finally a cool day with spritzes now and then!! That squash sure does know where he is the safest, looks to be a nice size one on the pic. Destiny's Child is a true beauty, how long is she to bloom, or is it sort term?? Have never seen a canna that resembled what you just posted! Very unique tho. I like it:.
That goofy squash is taking over the neighborhood!! Should've been planted (all 5 of them) in the north 40. That lily just keeps throwing up scapes, so I don't know. You want some of that canna when I lift?
Well I sure do! lol Mom is right, she is very unique and gorgeous to say the least! Destiny's Child is beautiful....I love to see the flowers of squash, it's too bad they crawl all over the place LOL! I planted my squash too close to my cucumbers and guess what....the cukes tasted like squash!!!! Darn bee's!!! I guess I learned the hard way this Summer in the veggie garden. Didn't stop me from eating them with my vinegar though hehehe
Alrighty Julisito... you got some of that canna heading your way.
Mornin 8ft: you know when you life the canna, YES I would like a piece and try again to grown some, maybe plant a different place:):) It is so unusual in its formation and color,
