Did anybody see the launch? I saw it live on CNN. Wow! It is so exciting to go back to space. Any fans of the space program here?

Maybe we just read too much sci-fi at my house. LOL. It gives me such hope for our future and our species when I see something so amazing. Look at what we can do! I feel like we can do anything we put our minds to, even fix the planet and repair the atmosphere. Hubby says I am a hopeless optimist! But I think humans are capable of so much when we TRY. I want to be one of the ones who tries. I want to see the earth from orbit!
I watched Challenger live, and hubby happened to have the TV on when we lost Columbia. Those disasters were so heart breaking. I am so excited to see Discovery take off and soar into outer space! To boldly go. . .
