Is the ability to customize ones Homepage.

On my Homepage I only have listed the 18 forums that I follow, the two search engines (PF and general), the voting booth, the Fun Random Image, and the things I'm flagged for (d-mail, PF upload queue, responses to posts I've started or follow).

It keeps things neat and tidy and easy to follow.

Me, too. I know I'm probably biased because I spend so much time here, but I suspect Dave's got us pretty spoiled. When I visit other sites, I'm frustrated by the lack of "skip to new", thread-watching, and not being able to edit a post when I see a typo ;o)

It really is an amazing site with all the knowledge but also being able to sort it out like we can. The PF photos in queue was something I only learned about recently!

I agree! And I love the "skip to new". The weight loss support site we frequent, 3fatchicks.com, has their own version of watched threads and "first unread", but there's a glitch that causes them all to be marked as read if you linger too long on a thread. Grrrrr! Dave definitely spoils us rotten, and we love it. :)

You can check on your 'pending images' Joan. If you are uploading several images to the PF, it can get confusing as to which ones you've already done..(been there, done that)

While they are waiting to be released, you can go to your homepage and click on the 'pending images' line and see everything that is still waiting to be released.

So very helpful if you keep adding images over the year.
