Trouble posting

I'm trying to post to a prayer request. I make my post, click Submit button, and get the page that the post has been made. But when I open the thread, the post is not there, and the thread is not moved. It's not happening with all my posts, just for this one so far.

it will do that if you are trying to post identical messages. Are you trying to post the exact same thread across multiple forums? It's not going to let you do that.

Let me know if that's not the case.

I didn't think I was being so repetitious but I checked and tried to post something different from my last one, and it's still not showing up.

no unfortunately. They're both existing threads on the same forum that I'm trying to add another post to.

i am on dial up using windows today and having trouble posting a new thread. turns up page can not be found or warning page has expired.

If I was posting from home I wouldn't even ask because it's dial-up with a 5+year-old machine but I'm at work at it's not dial-up here.

I was getting time-out's just a little while ago, minutes ago, but then it cleared up.

Cheryl, I just posted a "test" message to that thread without any problems. Can you try once again? Just post a short note, then you can edit it after-the-fact.

Sure. I posted again. just a very short post and got the same results. I don't see your post either, and the thread still did not get moved to the first page.

You didn't see my post because I deleted it right after I posted - it said "test" only, which I figured might bewilder those watching the thread.

Obviously, you're not having problems posting to this thread, so it's something unique to you and that thread....I'm sorry I don't have any answers for you :-(

I thought it might be the threads too but there have been other posts to them since I tried yesterday. And I've been able to post to all other threads except those two. Even now. But thanks for trying.
