Will you send a postcard?

I am hoping that some of you guys might not mind helping me out.

The daycare that my boys go to is trying to collect postcards from every state in the U.S. It doesn't matter what the postcard has on it, as long as it is appropriate for little kids, of course.

SINCE YOU GUYS ARE SO WONDERFUL, IT HAS BECOME EASIER TO HAVE A LIST OF THE CARDS THAT WE STILL NEED .

These are the last ones that we need:

Arkansas
Connecticut - Done
Delaware
Indiana
New Jersey
Rhode Island - Done
Vermont

If anyone is interested in sending one, please D-mail me and I will send you the address and mark off your state.

The North Dakota postcards went out today. Dave went and picked up the postcards and he couldn't decide between wild horses, buffalo, or a prairie dog, so they are getting all of them. :)

Also, he told the store owner what he needed them for, and the owner said it was good advertising for North Dakota, so he didn't charge him for them. I thought that was pretty nice.

Arizona's went out today also..pictures of beautiful Cacti.

Joan...I almost sent one with Pararie Dogs on it...but I never see them so didn't want to do it. LOL Jo

Thank you! Thank you! Some of the ones that have been sent are starting to come in and my son came home to announce that every one that had come in was on their behalf. The teachers are shocked at how many we are getting and I haven't given them an updated listed in a couple of days.

Never thought of the advertising angle. Geez, now the kids are going to be selecting all these different places that they want to go and me with no vacation time and even less money!!! LOL!

Oh, glad I found this! I'd be happy to send a postcard as well.

Some of the postcards have started coming in and the kids are so excited. Actually, they are the only ones that have had some one send them in for them, so they look like big shots. The daycare is so impressed with the list of states that we have committed.

How about updating your "states needed" list...so we can tell others we know in those states.

I started a collection of post cards for my grand son...every state I visit I send him a post card...his collections grows as I do...LOL Jo

mudgirl, I think I have Minnesota covered, but I would like to keep you in mind just in case they don't send it.

When we get all the postcards in and the daycare gets it put together, I am going to take a picture and post it here for you guys to see what a great thing you have done. My kids are still the only ones that have had postcards sent and the teachers just get more amazed everyday that we are having this much success. Certainly couldn't do it without you guys.

Sorry to get on your shirttails here, but I had this similar request from my SIL Newdeligal just yesterday:

OK here is the favor.... Someone her SIL works with is doing a summer project with her young son. I think he is 5 or 6..
Trying to receive a post card via snail mail from every state .. They need one from KY, south and north Dakota, also Iowa.
