That first one - live simply - is one of my favorites, right up there with -
Love God, and do as you please. (source unknown) Some people look at me like I'm crazy when I quote that one, but if you think about it for a minute, you will see that if you love God, what you please to do will please Him. I'm not trying to push anyone into anything, religious or otherwise. Just to please treat the world kindly.
