Feedback on the Newsletter new delivery method

Summerville, SC(Zone 8a)

Thanks, Dave, for putting your newsletter on the Web. For a long time, I intended to ask if there was a way to open the daily email with a different browser than AOL, where my mail is delivered. I never got around to asking, but was delighted to be notified that the Newsletter was on the Web. I open it in Firefox, and as I expected, it's a far superior method.

You know what I would like? If we could have the option of having the newsletter show up everyday like our watched threads do. I always forget about reading it here, and my ISP's spam blocker won't let it through.

That's a great idea, JoanJ.

Joan,

You should be able to over ride the ISP's block by putting it on your "friends" or "allowed" list.

Belfield, ND(Zone 4a)

I thought that to, but nowhere can I find a place to set up an allowed list, nor can I find one that's already set up. I think I even called them once, but can't remember what they told me.

Who's your ISP, Joan?

Belfield, ND(Zone 4a)

A local telephone company. Consolidated Telephone Company. They use a spam blocker called Postini. Does anyone know anything about that?

I forget the newsletter too....it was always the first mail I read....then in a couple of hours I'd get to the other mail....LOL

Susan, click on home, then the news tab on the far left. It's in there.

Thanks! I knew I should have read that email better before I deleted it. :)

Click on the DG Home tab, then on the News tab beneath it, and you'll find links to the newsletters on the right-hand side of the page... http://davesgarden.com/news.php

Oops, I think JoanJ said that earlier. Oh well, now you have a quick link, too. ;)
