I'm trying to find the book "Wildflowers of the Texas Hill Country" by Marshall Enquist. Can anyone help?
Looking for "Wildflowers of the Texas Hill Country"
You may be able to find a used copy somewhere else, but if Amazon is how you're going to buy it, a clickthrough from our Garden Bookworm link here: http://davesgarden.com/gbw/c/240/ provides a small payment from Amazon to the Garden Bookworm (your cost is the same if you buy direct or by clicking through from our site), and it helps keep this feature up and running.
If you've read the book, a quick review is helpful to others ;o)
I've checked Amazon and a bunch of other places... I just can't see spending a MINIMUM of $35.00 for a $15.00 paperbook!! I've even seen it for sale (used) for $75.00! If anyone has it, you've got a pretty rare book. The Blanco State Park is going to try to get a few this fall, but that's not a definate and I definately want this book! Its a great book on wildflowers specific to the TX hill country, which is where I live...between Blanco and Wimberley. A few other MG's around here have one but they only let me borrow it BRIEFLY. (They guard them w/ their lives). I'll keep looking and hopefully the state park will get some in this fall...its just so hard to wait!
Have you thought that their might be others that would buy the book also and help you meet the $35.00 min. They may not want to spend the min either.
Just a thought.
Blessings,
Sandy ^8^
The $35.00 was just for the one book (used)...the prices go up w/ the condition of the book. That's just from looking online. Whenever I'm out shopping, my eyeballs are peeled if there are any books around. It was listed on ebay as a "buy it now" item ($10.00) several wks ago but somone else beat me to it. Hopefully the state park will get some in this fall...but I'm gonna keep looking just in case. I'll let y'all know what happens in case anyone else might be interested in owning such a rare book! Thanks Sandy!
Debbie
Your welcome, sorry I miss understood.
Hope you find one. Maybe if they get them in by that time I can get one.
Blessings,

I wonder if it's been required as a college textbook, given some of the sites that list it. If it has been, you might try calling the A&M college bookstore and library - they may have some copies collecting dust somewhere they're willing to sell. Also, any other textbook stores and/or used bookstores in the area along with any other universities that offer hort classes.
Never thought of that, and my husband's an Aggie! That's a great idea-I'm gonna try that .Thanks a bunch! Debbie
You have mail. But hurry, may not last long at $19.80
God Bless
