DG T shirts, what happens when you wear yours?

Taylor Creek, FL(Zone 10a)

First let me say I was gifted with one by some unknown benefactor and am very grateful. I would like to return a thank you if I knew, as I am in better financial shape now. Not a shirt, of course, but I could think of something.;>)

Yesterday evening I went to 3 different GCs wearing mine. Two people came to me asking all sorts of plant questions and commented on having been to DG, but not joined.
The fellows at Lowe's, were climbing all ove the pallets of potted trees getting different ones. Three were lined up to load my van.
The shirt was noticed and asked about several times.
Have you had some experiences like this?

Hi Sidney, I usually just get questions when I wear mine 'where is Dave's' 'who is Dave?' etc. Now,if we had a Garden Watchdog shirt, I'm sure that would get them hopping lol.
I'm glad you like your shirt, so very sweet of someone to buy it for you!

Yes it was!

I mostly get questions as if I work wherever I am wearing it. The local garden centers mainly. Some questions I can answer and some not:-) That leads to the explantion of the DG website.

I wore it to the IA roundup but since then.... I pull it out thinking I'll wear it and uh... it's just a bit too "pretty" to wear in public.

Year, I don't want mine to look like I've been working in the garden in it, so I'm saving it. I do have a tee shirt from an earlier GARU with DG on it, and I wear that a lot, but no place that gets questions, like a garden center would.

I expect my new DG shirt will get questions, though.

I love mine. Also wear it when I need my friends watching my back.

I always get questions when I wear mine. The main one is, "Where's Dave's Garden?" Then they always ask, "Do you work there?" One lady at HD was just positive that it was on her list of places to go. She just couldn't find the time to get out there. She was so excited to talk to someone else who might have been there that I couldn't get a word in edgewise. When she finally stopped talking I told her it was a website and tried to share with her what it was all about.....she just said, 'Oh, really?" and walked away feeling very embarrassed. ;-)
