Walnut Creek, OH

Hi, I'm going to be in Walnut Creek next week with my DH. I had posted earlier this year about it & a couple of you had responded, but now I can't find where & so don't know who to contact about getting together, although I won't have a lot of time. We'll get there Thursday late afternoon & will be leaving sometime Sat. Whoever it was, had mentioned that there were some nice hosta nurseries around there. I thought the correspondence was in my mailbox, but alas, it isn't. I tried using the search, but either I don't know how to use the search or it needs improving. It brought up lots of pages, but it was hard to tell what my posts were. Anyway, if you live near Walnut Creek, OH, I'll be at the Carlisle Village Inn. I had mentioned that we'd correspond before I left & would exchange my cell phone # so we could make arrangements to get together. And, also, I understand that the Nat'l Hosta convention isn't too far from there, so everyone may be going there anyway, which is ok. If I had the time, I'd go to. Hope everyone has fun, but if you aren't going & live near Walnut Creek maybe we could get together.

No, I won't be attending the Hosta Convention. My DH collects Coleman lamps & lanterns & it's the Coleman Collectors Club Convetion that we'll be attending. I'm contributing to his addiction, like he contributes to mine.

I'll have to see how close Wde & Gatton is to where we'll be. I'd like to go to some quilt shops, but don't know yet.

Shoot, Jan - I was hoping we could get up there and meet you, but I don't know if it'll happen due to gas prices. We had a big, unexpected bill to pay this last week and that's kind of chewed into the entertainment budget.

It sure would have been good to have seen you again. Not sure if we'll make it to the KYRU this year or not. We have been traveling so much, that at times it's good to just stay home.

Have fun in Ohio...We will want to see some pics when you return home!...I love quilts, too, and used to look around up in Amish country for unusual examples to resell in California...this was back in the early '70's, long time ago, so I am not up on what's what there anymore. Would love to go back, though.
