Do you use bill pay

Do any of you use that bill pay web site, often i'm on ebay they'll say I accept paypal and bill pay. what is that, where is it? can you actually pay all your bills on bill pay. What a neat idea, there are a couple of bills I pay on line, my phone bill and my visa bill I pay on line, just wanted some opinions, My credit card is insured, and we pay it off each month, I thought about paying all my bills on line through my credit card, and just having one giant bill to pay at the end of the month and paying the credit card off each month on line too. Reason being, we get cash for using the credit card, often it's 20.00 a month. I thought about using bill pay. I went to a site called billpay.com but I don't think it's what I really wanted. I have a cable bill, electric bill, water, Iknow the water and electric I might not be able to pay. I saw an advertisement on tv about paying every one of your bills on line.

I have been paying my bills O/L for years. I pay them through my O/L checking account. For utility bills or bills one would pay monthly I estimate them for the year, divide it by 12 and pay that amount monthly. I hardly ever have to actually sit down and send checks for monthly expenses using this method.

you get your on line checking account through your bank? just wondering, i'd much rather do the on line thing instead of writing check every week, Imihgt not be late on bills if I did LOL

Yes, I have my O/L checking account through my banks and can access all my accounts. You can even transfer funds from your savings to checking and visa/versa.

When you get your o/l account you can set up your "Vendors" on a monthly basis; although some I pay quarterly. It is VERY convenient.... although I do not pay that many bills -- DH pays most of them, and he has his banking set up the same way through his bank.

But when I was single I did pay all my bills in this manner.

All my bills (except rent and my storage units) go there every month, and they send me an email when each one comes in. I have the option of selecting a different payment date, and a different amount to pay. Since I only get social security, I schedule most bills for the day after my check gets deposited.

I've used it about 3 years now and I love it. I pay telephone, cell phone, (heat and elec, is included in my rent), credit cards, gas cards, store cards, etc.

Well, if I had an on line checking account, I don't think I could pay all my bills through my visa Not my checking account, I'm wanting to do this because of the free money I get by using my visa, and just pay it off each month through my checking account, my visa gets charged a hefty fee when i take money off my visa through my bank, so I've never acquired money from my visa through my bank, I would imagine it would also be charged when I used my on line checking account and paid bills through my visa , that I 'd have to find out if I wanted to have an on line checking account,

Darius, I pay all my bills by check free as well. have done so for years and have never had a problem. I love it because you can sit down one day a month and schedule all your payments for the month. And I do most everything online...never had a problem (knock on wood)...
