L'Amour has given me her first bloom of the season. She will darken with age and can't wait to see what she does this year. No matter how many times I see my first blooms of the season, I still have that the same excitement! I wish I could add "smell a' vision." The fragrance is nothing short of intoxicating. Let the Brug Buzz begin!!!
AH, L'Amour
That is a lovely pink.
BEAUTIFUL!!!!
Judy
Beautiful bloom meltn.
She's a pretty one!
I love her color, nice Meltn :-)
Very nice. Even with light color, she has class.
very pretty and she has that waxy look. Now I have something else to look forward too. Got one around here somewhere.
Very Nice!
What is that double I see in the background??
Very pretty, Mel.
Its beautiful. wonderful color..
It is so pretty Mel. Mine was open this morning but I didn't have the camera handy.
Adding another name to the list of brugs I would love to have. You all have to stop this now, I don't have room for another one. Wow that one is so pretty.
Thanks a million for all your kind comments!
Pphil, behind her is a Golden Lady who is just ending a bloom flush. The two of them are my most reliable bloomers. I have a Tequila Sunrise blooming but the rest are being stuborn this year.
Buns, you know there is ALWAYS room for just one more!
Really Buns, LOL. I didn't have any more room about 100 ago. LOL
Mel, it is great. Such a pink color you get. Does it turn orangey at all for you?
What a beauty!
She is lovely Mel.
Again my friends, thanks!
Kell, I was just out looking and it is already a deeper pink from this morning. I will get a picture before the sun sets tonight. I have not noticed an orangy color....just deeper pink.
It shows!!!! I'm going to stop coming to this Forum because I want all of them but I have too many plants. I've already invited another DG member to pull around to the back porch and open the back door of her van so we could load it up with houseplants!!! lol lol lol
We are enjoying your pictures.
Judy
Very pretty!
It is so hard to decide which brugs I'd like to take on next year - so many pretty ones to choose from!
Its beautiful!
So pretty Mel! L'A was my first bloom to see and I still remember how excited I was. And guess what??? I will be just as excited to see it again this year!!! Darn, I just wish it would HURRY! LOL
Boy, you started out with the good stuff Brinda! I collected Brugmansia my first year and every darn one I got turned out to be Charles Grimaldi!
Beautiful picture!
beautiful blooms Meltn. Looks like you are getting nice dark blooms too in this heat
Very pretty Meltn!! What zone are you in???
She just takes my breath away, she's so beautiful!!!
Judy
I like this darker color lots!!!
Is L'Amour an easy brug to grow? I just love the deep pink blooms.
I consider it one of the easiest in my collection, Emily! She has been very reliable and flowers all summer.
It is just beautiful, Mel. And your garden behind her looks so lush too. Do you have wide angle shots of your yard to make us drool?
You are up, Mel. I am about to go to bed. LOL
Oh my, just an incredible place. And a pool too. And not one empty pot in sight. LOL
So is that a garden breakfast room with the skylights Mel? Just lovely.
What are you going to serve us by the pool??
I could move right in your place, meltn, and be happy forever, it is just beautiful, lush, and the colors are so relaxing, the whole thing makes me almost swoon, you have done a wonderful job of pulling all that together, it could not be more perfect, I love every inch!!
You are too sweet, Sherry! Thanks a million.
Kell, you are telling on my "pot problem"! Look at the picture with the sunroom. On the far left is a wall of pots and that is just the beginning! I will have to ask the Cabana Boys what they will serve you. I wonder where they went? I think Susie stole them!
