Buying the House next door

My husband and our two daughters have always lived next door to his Aunt and Unkle who are now very elderly and not able to do maintain the house. We wanted to buy it very badly and I thought I would show a picture of it.

Yes we buying it and it. I can't wait to start moving in. The closing date we have right now is July 1.

Awww, that's great!

I have long wanted to buy my grandparents' old house. My mom and her sister couldn't afford to pay the taxes on it when grandpa died, so it was sold. It's had many improvements done to it by the buyers, and if they ever did sell, it would be vastly out of Howie's and my price range. It's fun to dream, though.

This house was way out of our price range for over a year. We started hoping the price would go down last April. Lucky for us it had very little interst at the price it was listed for. My husbands Aunt and Unkle got tired of waiting for a buyer to come along. Since we live within 20 feet of the house I could see it was very rare when someone would pull into the drive and look around. Three months ago we negotiated what we could afford. Since the price went down A few other people have tried to negotiate with them. Lucky for us we already put in a deposit! The bank says any day now. Just waiting for the Lawyer to finish up with some minor detail.
