Another beauty, Kell. What's the cross on this one? Is it a seedling that didn't bloom last year or is this from a new crop?

Kell -

What's her name gonna be if she becomes a keeper?

Looks like Tropical Parfait to me! So pretty and I like her long neck.

Kannapolis, NC(Zone 7b)

Beautiful blooms, Kell.

San Leandro, CA(Zone 9b)

I can't wait to go see her today. I wish I could bring her home but she is too big to move. I didn't even go prepared yesterday to take her pollen. I had no clue I would want it. I will today! LOL

No name has come to mind yet Candy. I like yours. LOL.

I was thinking I would start tracking temp and humidity when I get such dark blooms. I noticed with my last dark one I had incredibly dark the day before it rained. Then the next ones to open were much lighter.

Northern California, CA

Kell!

Don't even say the "R" word! It's JUNE and it isn't gonna rain anymore. Is it? LOL

Vancleave, MS(Zone 8b)

Keaau, HI(Zone 11)

Kell...we are going to run out of names for your gorgeous brugs!

Alohas...

Fountain, FL(Zone 8a)

Soooo pretty...love the color!!

San Leandro, CA(Zone 9b)

Donna, it is a much nicer form than Red. The tendrils are really long and she is bigger and more girlie. I was going to say, lets see if she roots better than Red but suddenly Red is easy to root! I just put them in a pot and they did not wilt or lose a leaf. They are like statues, have not changed in 3 weeks. Now that I am thinking about it, they have not changed AT ALL!! LOL, maybe they are dead and just do not know it yet. Of course the tips are all full of buds so I do not want to cut on her now. Just my luck!

You know who I miss, Glory Glory! She and I would have a nice chat about this one. She was always so positive.

Yes Candy, no rain or storms till November. The rest of Dave's, eat your heart out. LOL

San Jose, CA(Zone 9a)

How about "Glory Glory" for a name...just a thought !

Vancleave, MS(Zone 8b)

Yes Gloria loved to talk. I really miss her

Angleton, TX(Zone 9a)

Pretty picture Kell. Have you decided now to hybridize to get the versi? I remember last year the ones that were your favorites were the ones with the long, hugging calyxes. I have always liked all shapes, colors and sizes myself because variety makes things interesting. Your flowers and blooms have been beautiful this year.

Valley Village, CA

I don't grow this species, but it's lovely , like a ballerina, with a long neck and so graceful. Norma

Deep South Coastal, TX(Zone 10a)
