I went for a manure run the long way around and stopped to take a peek and water.
This was a shock.
I think I'm in love!!
Wow, that's such a gorgeous color! I love the ruffled edges too
OK
my NEW favorite
very versi looking!!!
Fabulous Kell! Is that their first bloom? AHH, that deep color is simply beautiful!
Wowser!!
She is just beautiful, kell.
Gorgeous!
My goodness Kell ... that is getting some great color!! Keep us posted!!
A very pleasant shock I must say...
Beautiful!!!
Another beauty, Kell. What's the cross on this one? Is it a seedling that didn't bloom last year or is this from a new crop?
Another lovely KELL Brug.
kell my starts are perking up, Maya is still behind but think she will make it, my son goes home tomorrow so I will be back full time. :)
Doris
GEEEZ...BEautiful! How DO you do that Kell?? Manage to grow those gorgeous colors???
Diane
Whooee! That is some kind of beautiful, Kell.
Kell -
What's her name gonna be if she becomes a keeper?
Looks like Tropical Parfait to me! So pretty and I like her long neck.
Beautiful blooms, Kell.
I can't wait to go see her today. I wish I could bring her home but she is too big to move. I didn't even go prepared yesterday to take her pollen. I had no clue I would want it. I will today! LOL
No name has come to mind yet Candy. I like yours. LOL.
I was thinking I would start tracking temp and humidity when I get such dark blooms. I noticed with my last dark one I had incredibly dark the day before it rained. Then the next ones to open were much lighter.
Kell!
Don't even say the "R" word! It's JUNE and it isn't gonna rain anymore. Is it? LOL
O.K. who is this. Tought was Red until I read all the threads. Wowser!!!!!
Sure are Beautymouse!
Kell...we are going to run out of names for your gorgeous brugs!
Alohas...
Soooo pretty...love the color!!
Donna, it is a much nicer form than Red. The tendrils are really long and she is bigger and more girlie. I was going to say, lets see if she roots better than Red but suddenly Red is easy to root! I just put them in a pot and they did not wilt or lose a leaf. They are like statues, have not changed in 3 weeks. Now that I am thinking about it, they have not changed AT ALL!! LOL, maybe they are dead and just do not know it yet. Of course the tips are all full of buds so I do not want to cut on her now. Just my luck!
You know who I miss, Glory Glory! She and I would have a nice chat about this one. She was always so positive.
Yes Candy, no rain or storms till November. The rest of Dave's, eat your heart out. LOL
How about "Glory Glory" for a name...just a thought !
Yes Gloria loved to talk. I really miss her
Kell, your beautiful brugs never cease to wow me:-)
*wowz*!!!
Is the no-no "R" word for rain or red - looks mightylike an "r" to me!
Cherries Jubilee - yum.
A lovely pink! (What a surprise) LOL
Love it!
Mary
Gosh Kell, if that one doesn't thrill you to pieces, there is no making you happy! LOL It's beautiful!
Kell, she is absoluely gorgeous. You have done such a wonderful job with hybernating your
brugs.
LOL, Michele
Kell, you go girlie girl, I am so happy for you!
Gorgeous!
Pretty picture Kell. Have you decided now to hybridize to get the versi? I remember last year the ones that were your favorites were the ones with the long, hugging calyxes. I have always liked all shapes, colors and sizes myself because variety makes things interesting. Your flowers and blooms have been beautiful this year.
I don't grow this species, but it's lovely , like a ballerina, with a long neck and so graceful. Norma
It's pretty Kell. So different with the sun shining on it! I think the name Tropical Parfait fits it!
Oh WOW, Kell that's beautiful.
