Small tree suggestions
Thanks for the pictures; always helpful to see it. Nice shape and not too big.
Gorgeous, Victor!
All of the trees I grow are very rare, yet outstanding. I am assuming that you are looking for a flowering tree? Some of these that I would suggest would be Cornus capitata, Hovenia dulcis, or Cercis siliquastrum.
Thanks treeguy, I haven't written down the names and now will look them up in my AHS book. I don't mind something a bit unusual. Rather fancy the different.
Treeguy, I looked up those three trees and yes they are unusual. I especially liked the cercis siliquastrum. I don't know where I would find one here but I have an idea. OAN has a wonderful site and search engine. www.oan.org is Oregon Association of Nurseryman.
Treeguy, I'd love to know what rare and outstanding trees you have. You haven't posted any pix I can find and I would like to know more about what you are growing and why they are outstanding. I could probably grow the same ones in Alabama and I have room for more.
