Hi! I have been trying since this last Saturday, May 21, to post pictures along with my posts in Cacti and Succulents and in Hostas. I hit the preview key and it starts to upload and then I get the message that says "this page is not available". Am I doing something wrong? I have previously not had any problems posting pictures. My text posts are going through OK just not the ones with pictures.

Martha, it sounds like your connection is "timing out" - which may have to do with the size of your files. What size are your images? (Generally we recommend images that are 800 x 600 or smaller; files saved as jpg's are sometimes easier to load.

Terry how do you go about fixing you attachments so they are 800 x 600 or smaller; how do you save files as jpg's. I know I have the same problem then I notice others who are sending attachment like a minute apart. Sometimes it takes me 5 to 10 minutes just to get one saved.

If you're using a digital camera, then it should have come with a photo editor software that lets you - among other things - resize the image and save it one of several formats. If you don't have the software that came with your camera, there are many available - some free, some to purchase.

A great place to ask this question is the camera talk or computer talk forum - Gardenwife and others have a lot more experience with the ins and outs of various software than I do.
