LOL!!! I went to the produce junction to get FOOD-- really -- I did.. I mean it... doncha see the pineapple??? now where were the instuctions on how to grow one..... LOL!!!!

Well, I went to WM for an RX the other night and came home with 2 roma tomatoes instead! I don't even know how I ended up in the garden center. Oh yeah ... I also bought a beautiful clay flower pot. Guess we have it bad, huh? *smile*

Oh yeah. Hubby is going to kill me when my THIRD box from Bluestone shows up next week! And the day I placed the order, I spent $30 at the nursery on the way home from work! If I weren't having so much fun I would ask someone to stop me.

You really can grow the pineapple. Once you've cutt off the top part with a little of the 'pineapple' as a footing, I'm pretty sure you let the cut cure and then put it in soil and it will root! A new little pineapple will grow up out of the center on an stalk. ;)

Heather, thanks ... this was very interesting! I've never heard of this kind of tree. Am definitely going to look for one. It sounds beautiful, and when the DH tells me to go find my money tree ... well, I'll just show it to him!

I DID buy food at the Junction today-- that was my saving grace -- but you all know I went because I heard the flats of annuals were $6! LOL!!!! Of course I didn't get any of those -- it was all stuff I already had from starting seed.... LOL!!!!! Those African Violets were $1 each!!!! I got the Gloxina and the Cyclamen for 1.50 gotta LOVE my Produce Junction!
