Chat room open Jun 28, 7-10pm

Tonight, Tuesday, June 28th, from 7:00pm until 10:00pm (EDT) the chatroom will be open for all members.

That's 4:00pm until 7:00pm for you Pacific timers. Look for the chatroom link under the logo tonight.

That's very nice of you dave to give everyone plenty of notice about the chat room. While I never go into any chat rooms, ever, anywhere,(can't type well enough or fast enough) I'm sure members here will appreciate the notice. And just think. Maybe there will be no complaints about missing out on it :)

When that happens, the only thing that has ever worked it to just reboot the computer and try again. I'm using port 6667, so make sure that's not firewalled.

The chatroom is closed tonight, and was a lot of fun. I'm sorry you missed it! Tim - let's try to get together and figure out what's going on there so next time you'll be all set. Send me an E-mail and I'll get a little test chat setup to see if you can connect.

Missed it again. I hadn't tuned in to the general discussion forum so missed the message until too late. Hope you will open it again soon. I emagine it is like a family reunion when it is open.

Missed it again!!! Oh well... I spent so much time looking at my calendar, and then at the message, and then back at the calendar... trying to figure out why today became Tuesday! You had me going for a while there! At least I'm glad tomorrow is Friday instead of Wednesday.

Ah shucks, I had company - showed off the DG site and saw that the room was open, but didn't want to venture into chat and ignore my guests :) Will have to catch it next time. Thanks Dave for posting the port as I do run a firewall - will it stay the same each time?

Oh Shoot, I missed it again. With our PST, it was during dinner prepare and eat time ...then dishes and etc. Came on the puter at 8pm. I miss you guys so much...the chat room made it feel like I lived so much closer to you all...rather than thousands of miles away.

I had a blast y'all, and there was so much food!!!! Thanks everyone for making me feel such a part of this. My hubby couldn't understand why I kept laughing out loud, though!

Good idea, MM. But then I'd have to spend my morning in front of the computer instead of in the garden. :-)

We'll see about a morning chat sometime next week. I think it sounds like fun. I'll give at least 12 hours notice (hopefully... you never can tell with me).

Dave, Is it possible to let everyone know about the chat room on your daily emails? I missed the June 28 chat room.

There are so many sites I never seem to get around to visiting them all.
