Correcting errors in PlantFiles

CREZIERES, France(Zone 8a)

I hope that I am not being myopic, but I can't see any way of correcting information on particular plants. I happened to notice that some of the entries for Geranium x oxonianum declare it to be 'Herbaceous', which it is not, it is evergreen. (I am taking herbaceous to mean 'dies down during the winter'... I am not too sure how the Geranuim fares on the strict botanical meaning of the term).
Certainly if I entered plant information in good faith which turned out to be in error, I would like people to be able to correct it...

(Just a thought...)

If you've make an incorrect entry on a detail, you may change it yourself by switching to Live View (located at the bottom of the entry page).

Everything else needs to be reported to the PlantFiles editors by clicking on the "Report an Error" button on the top righthand side of the entry page. They will then adjust the information as appropriate. :)

I made some errors by checking a couple of details that were not supposed to be checked, but when I go back and 'uncheck' them, they won't stay unchecked.

After making a change, it can take up to 5 minutes before that change is reflected to the PlantFiles page.

Thanks Dave.

I would like to add something here. As Dave said above it takes time for the system to show the change. You can also go to the bottom of the page and switch to live view and see the change. I know we get reports back you didn't change anything. It has been changed. Another thing to remember is if you add a new plant it will not show up in the search until the next day. (Dave might have to correct me on that one not sure how long it takes)

That's right - the search runs on a one day lag. Nice info mystic!
