Post margins?

Gulfport, MS(Zone 8a)

This very seldom is an issue, but sometimes a post gets larger than the screen. Is there a way to limit each line to a specific amount of characters in order to keep the thread uniform?
thanks

Send amins an e-mail and they will fix the post. I have done this a few times and it works very quickly.

Or if you can see whose post is causing the problem, you can email them and ask them to edit their post - which is sometimes faster than contacting us ;o)

Most of the time, the abnormally wide threads are caused by the use of many characters with no spaces (like ..... or !!!!!! only many more). When there's a very long string of characters not separated by spaces, the column expands to accomodate the whole string.

This also happens sometimes when a URL is posted and the author inadvertantly neglects to put a space before and after it; if it's a long URL to begin with, the column will widen to include it all.

Imagine that's a long link instead of just davesgarden.
