Understanding the abbreviations DH, DD, etc.

Rotterdam, NY(Zone 5b)

I've noticed from reading other posts that DH, DG and a few others were used. So I went ahead and assumed the following

DG (obvious) Dave's Garden
DH = Dear hubby (or something like that)
DW = Dear wife
DD = Dear daughter

If you can think of any others I have missed or if I'm completely waaaay out in left field....please let me know. Cause I have some serious editing to do LOL Seriously though....any input is most appreciated.

Thanks,
Lisa

Some more

DS - dear son or dear sister
DSIL - dear sister in law - son in law
DDIL - dear daughter in law
DMIL - dear mother in law (or just MIL)

IMO - in my opinion
IMHO - in my humble opinion

LOL - laugh out loud
LMAO - laugh my (butt) off
RFLOL - rolling on the floor laughing out loud
ROFLMAO - rolling on the floor laughing my (butt) off

There's more I know, and several threads already discussing them, but I don't know where they are. Would be nice to have them all in one place without too much chat though.

LOL yea.....I was looking for them too...I didn't want to take up forum space with something I'm sure that has been discussed many times before. Thanks for filling me in!

Remember that DS and DD are relevant to how you feel at the time. ;-)

NIMBY Not in my backyard

SASE Self addressed stamped envelope

Trying to think of ones relevant to here. For example, we wouldn't use the ever popular "brb" (be right back) that my dd uses with her friends. And "ttys" isn't good for here, either. (Talk to you soon).

LOL pins....get out of my brain!! i was just thinking the same thing....cause dh hasn't finished his 'honey do' list before going fishing. Anyhoo...back to the point.

Most important!!! dont confuse DH (dear husband) with
HD ( Home Depot) LOL!!!

As well, "Dear" can also be interchanged with "Duh" and nobody even needs to know...
