They are really bad here in zone 6a so far this year. I just found another one on me crawling on the back of my neck. I took the dogs out this morning and was only out for 15 minutes, and didn't bother to spray myself. I guess from know on I will have to spray even for short trips, especially around my shoe area. Boy I hate them little critters. I know hate is a harsh word to use, but I really HATE them. There I said it again.
TICKS
HATE HATE HATE HATE HATE HATE...... Me too! Right there with ya--although we haven't seen any yet this year. UGH -- nothin worse than findin one in your little boys diaper area!!!!!

I found one on me 2 years ago it was located on the lower part of my back right in the middle. It took a good year to get over it. I said something to the Dr. and he said it can take up to a year sometimes to get over them, and if I was over it I was lucky. Right where it was it would itch terrible, then I would scratch it until it was raw. I kept it doctored all the time and it still would bother me. They can be something else.
