New front walk planting ideas.

Stanford, CA(Zone 9b)

I'm so glad that this forum is here!

This is a bed on the front walk to my house. I've just taken out two big ferns that were swallowing the tree and I'm redoing the bed. I've finally got some rocks placed here, and the Cineraria are volunteers, the Liorope will go too. I would like to keep the azalea, but I'm open to moving it.

I would like to keep this evergreen and I'm thinking of putting another maple at the left hand side of the bed. There is another on the other side of the path and I think that it will balance it better.

I have some ideas, but my big problem is simplicity. I get a little carried away!
