This is a bluegrass song that I taped off of the radio about 20 years ago. I would like to find a better recording of it, but don't know the name of it or who sung it, except that it wasn't one of the big-time stars. The music is happy. The words go like this.

A blue eyed girl and a house in the high country,

I've forwarded the lyrics to Sandy Sheehan of WUMB radio in Boston. He'll know if anyone does. He does a Traditional Folk Music show. We'll see if he answers me.

Here is his email to me:

I don't know the song. The only person I can think of who
might know is Sinc at Hilbilly At Harvard on WHRB. He is on
from 9AM-1PM Sat so you could try calling him at
617-495-WHRB. If you can't get the radio signal they stream
at WHRB.org.
