I was reviewing pages on the website when an Ebay ad caught my eye - it said:

"Flowering Dogwood Trees
Huge selection of new & used Check out the deals now!

I had to laugh - whoever heard of a "used" tree?

Well, it was funny to me......

Was it gently used? Or high-mileage, sold as-is? (grin....yeah, things like that make me chuckle, too. eBay-speak works for *most* stuff - but not plants ;o)

Well-- technically-- if someone else owned it first...... LOL!!!!

Reminds me of when I was working and another fellow and I used to take a walk at lunch. Sometimes we'd check out a nearby store that sold groceries from closed stores, overstocks, train wrecks, who knows. If we bought and brought anything back to the office, another friend would say, "I see you've been to the used food store again." Harold

When I went to the bread outlet I would refer to it as used bread. My boss who was much bothered by anything anal would blanch at the thought.
