Kell, I am toying with the idea of getting me one of these eskimo friends.
How did yours fare in these years?

The most beautiful tree in the world
WOW a blast from the past! It is still alive but I never planted it. Maybe I will this year. Its place is where I took down an apricot tree but the stump is still there. I am sure it wants to be in the ground. It is still gorgeous esp when it leafs out in spring. GET IT! LOL
ROFL!!!! I didn't read the dates on the messages and couldn't understand why all the links were broken ones LOL

I just got a 2 gallon one from Lucile, and a 1 gallon one from Forest Farm.
I also got the Maple Rubrum Vanity and a Maple Abigail Rose, since our dog with that name died.
Would you have more photo's Kell?
Christie
I think I do but I would have to look for them. So you are really looking for some shade in your yard! You know I bought mine so close to you in 2005, Sunnyside Nursery in San Anselmo.
No way! That's in my town!
I plan on keeping mine pruned in a 2 to 5 gallon pot.
If you ever come near me again, swing on by for a drink, and bring your pruners to take cuttings!
( I am secretly looking at a house in Novato, and if that happens my garden is biiiiiig and great for a special Maple Corner!)

I just heard that houses are a great buy in Novato, much more so than the surrounding towns! I go thru there on my way to Point Reyes. It gets a bit too hot for me in the summer but I love that side of the bridge.
PS Thanks for the invite!

My town is just too darn crowed, not nearly enough land, and, well, there's no other way to say it, too snooty too!
I mean it, where ever I will live, come say hello!
I wish we had those meet and greet days like the South Cal people too!
