I'm not requesting a new forum, not before April 23! ;) I'm just requesting for one to return from its sabbatical. In General Discussion, we've been enjoying a discussion of what folks have been reading. It looks like there's definitely an interest in a media-related forum again. http://davesgarden.com/forums/t/498021/

Any chance the Media forum could be reinstated? It would be nice to have a central place to browse threads about books, magazines, TV shows, movies and such.

As a book lover, and after reading all of the thread GW posted above, I'm torn. Yes, there are book readers posting, most with suggestions. But I'm not pleased that it can turn into a debate on one's beliefs which I thought was against the AUP.

I would LOVE to have the Media Forum reinstated! Perhaps you could put the rules in a "blue sticky" so we could be reminded of them? Book people tend to get carried away with their books like we do with plants and pets!

I was so excited to stumble across this thread as I am either on the computer or have a book in my hand. I was amazed to hear my fav authors named over and over. This looks like a great idea to me.
